On February 18, 2026, A part of the Twentieth Congress of the Senate of the Philippines discussed the issues occurring within the Agriculture, Food and Agrarian Reform sectors. Within this hearing included the fisheries sector. NGO’s For Fisheries Reform was present during the hearing and represented by Ms. Marita Puro Rodriguez, Executive Director as seen in the video above.
